Since January 1, 2026, each non-US resident aged 16 or over pays $100 on top of the standard entrance fee, unless they enter with an annual or America the Beautiful pass.
It applies whether you drive yourself or come on a tour. A family of two adults from abroad in a rental car pays $35 for the car plus $200 in non-resident fees; their children under 16 add nothing.

How do non-residents pay the fee on a tour?
The operators collect it in the destination rather than at booking, so expect to pay on the day as your guide or the operator instructs.

For non-residents visiting several fee-charging national parks, often yes: the $250 non-resident pass admits you without the $100 Yosemite fee.
For US residents, the $70 Yosemite Annual Pass pays for itself on a second car visit within a year, and the $80 America the Beautiful pass on a third park visit; on a tour, your entry is already included. One tour guest with an America the Beautiful pass reports paying the fee anyway, so tell the operator you hold a pass before the day.
When are the Yosemite fee-free days in 2026?
February 16, May 25, June 14, July 3 to 5, August 25, September 17, October 27 and November 11, and only for US citizens and residents.
Non-residents are not eligible, so the $100 fee still applies on those dates. On a tour, do not expect the price to change: the operator sets it. The two remaining free days in 2026 are October 27 and November 11.
Do you need a reservation to enter Yosemite in 2026?
No. There is no day-use or peak-hours reservation system in 2026, including summer and the February Firefall.
